With the amount of knife crime present in the UK at the moment its little wonder that the police have to wear Body Armour . I wouldn`t like to be faced with a knife-wielding offender, especially if I didn`t have the right level of protection on my body. It might be a sad state of affairs but the truth is that Body Armour has become an everyday part of the police uniform. However it`s not just the police that require this level of protection because anyone working in the public sector could require this type of armour. Think of street wardens trying to make the community a safer place and the risk of attack they might come across as part of their duties.
